SERVICES

  • This is to ensure that human factor risks are considered at the design stage. Working Armour has been involved in a number of design reviews providing expert advice in relation to issues that may affect OHS during the construction, operation, maintenance and demolition of a facility/product. This has also involved providing signoff and certification services at various stages to ensure that human factors risk have been adequately managed.

  • This includes independent systems development and review, development and review of site and organisation risk registers and the reflection of this in WHS documentation, Independent review of Workers compensation & injury management processes as well as risks management processes for both content validity and effective implementation practice. Independent major hazardous facility, plant and hazardous chemical, HAZOP/HAZID risk assessment development and review. Review of WHS/HF management plans and their effectiveness in implementation.

  • Provision of training courses specifically relating to OHS leadership, OHS motivation at all levels, incident and injury management, consultation, OHS systems implementation thought mock coronial inquiries, OHS and environmental legislative requirements, Specific hazards courses relating to physical, chemical, biological and psychological hazards.

  • Independent incident investigation, review of incident and hazard reporting trends to identify opportunities for improvement, independent review of legal liability in implementation of corrective actions and their tracking.

  • Application of System Safety Analysis Method (STAMP/STPA) & Causal Analysis for incident analysis ; Safety critical task for Cognitive, performance, learning, content and activity based and hierarchical task analysis. Model reviews of the workplaces/plant/product systems, usability tests with site inspections applying requirements of ISO 11064 and other similar standards. Interfaces and design analysis.

  • Auditing against organisation WHS management system/site OHS plans, ISO 45001-03,05 Lead Auditor Safety management systems, Office of Federal Safety Audit, National Self Insurance audit protocols. Review of documentation against practice.

  • Operations Risk Management involving risk and hazard studies encompassing electrical, environmental, distribution, occupational health/hygiene and emergency risks. Capital Effectiveness involving Facility engineering, Processes, business planning, facility planning, project implementation, startup and initial operations, value-improving practices, contractor effectiveness, shutdown/turnaround practices; and asset productivity involving business analysis, consensus/implementation planning, implementation, sustaining/control plan, maintenance and reliability systems, manufacturing capacity, energy optimization, facilities infrastructure, mechanical integrity, produce quality and process control.
