After completing a Masters degree in Biomechanics and Exercise Physiology, Julie progressed to an academic career in Anatomy and Biomechanics. Working primarily in rehabilitation and occupational health she has also lectured at both Australian and British Universities.

JULIE ARMOUR
Work Health, Safety (WHS) consultant with almost 30 years industry experience. This has resulted in extensive experience in human factors (HF) risk and health & safety (HS) management which has been demonstrated in academic, clinical and industrial environments.
Consulting work has primarily focused on heavy industry with special interest in large engineering projects. She has been involved in the design and setup of major engineering and product development projects across the Asia- Pacific region providing human factors and WHS risk advice and workshop facilitation such as developing of WHS risk management systems including diagnosis of WHS, people & security risks across product, facility or project lifecycle, strategy/plan development, implementation, monitoring & review. Julie is also employed by a variety of law firms and WHS regulators throughout Asia Pacific to provide expert opinion.
